Cardinals are exactly a .500 team at home since the start of 2016 by my count. There is a reason why no one likes Matheny.2-4 homestand...won't bode well either

Nothing cures baseball ills like playing the Reds
Padding the run differential against the Reds is nice but losing 3 1-run games to the Brewers already is pretty terrible.
The Brewers are the most likely team the Cardinals are competing against for the playoffs unless the Pirates stay hot or the Cubs stay cold. Going 3-3 against the Brewers while being +9 in run differential against them isn't ideal.
That's true, but how they doin without Rizz? That Kris Bryant dude is pretty good.

scouty, How long is Rizz suppose to be out?
Just read where Rizzo is hitting in a cage and is eligible to come off the DL Monday vs STL. I kind of hope the STL/Cincy game tomorrow is postponed so Martinez can pitch Monday. It will be kind of scaring facing the Cubs with Wainwright and Wacha to start the series.
Cardinals are very fortunate to win that one. 3 errors but the Reds left 8 on base. Carmart held.
Waino has a great record at Wrigley but that's obviously a fairly meaningless stat at this juncture.
It looks to have a little snow and cold as hell for the start of the cards/Cubs series.........I`tll probably be a wash with better weather coming up.............Rizzo is getting back into the swing, will be activated today.
And with the weather today,he may get another day to rest his back......
But it won`t matter if the Cub bats and pitchers don`t pull their heads out of their ass..........
Good luck in the series Card fans..........
I hope nobody on this board has any reason to whine about their team.
Reds fans get to endure this for a whole season. Being out of the race in mid-April is what every fan deserves.
