Leaving Wisconsin is never a bad thing. I wish the Wisconnies who come to NW Indiana would go back there and brag about how cold it is.

Phil got me retired. He was usher at pirate games since 1938. Wow. That's even longer than the Cleveland Indian winning draught.
I bet he could tell some stories about the pirate greats.

Yep, that is a long time, btw it was 36. They are going to honor him on his 100th birthday later this month.

I honestly think Arizona ST does hitters absolutely zero good. The guys who have made the team don't even bother working on hitting. They get 40 or 50 at-bats, head for the links and go to dinner.

Javier Baez has 6 walks in 41 PA this year and is on pace for 88. He had 45 in 958 PA from 2016-17. Meanwhile, Joey Votto has 2 walks in 48 PA. Gotta love April.

I think the pitchers Votto is facing don't walk many guys.

My Cardinals seem to go back downhill every time they get to .500 but they are getting close to being .500 again so I hope they can get over the hump.

Padding the run differential against the Reds is nice but losing 3 1-run games to the Brewers already is pretty terrible.

The Brewers are the most likely team the Cardinals are competing against for the playoffs unless the Pirates stay hot or the Cubs stay cold. Going 3-3 against the Brewers while being +9 in run differential against them isn't ideal.
