After I posted my bitch about 7 games at Wriglry, I noticed Pittsburg comes to STL 7 times.

If we're concerned about Pittsburgh, no matter where we play them, then we won't be in the hunt. But the Cubs are a different story. They are co-favorites to win the NL Central along with us and it shouldn't be 7-3 advantage Cubs for home field. So now I'm bitching about this schedule.

Cardinals played well for a game they could've easily lost. For having 3 HRs and what should have been a triple they should have put more runs on the board, though.

I agree! I thought we were going to see another one of those 9th inning bad dreams that we have become accustomed to seeing way too much in the past. I just hope we can eventually establish a true closer for moments like this.

I think even more important than that is our pitching has been solid so far.

That was insane pitching by the Cubs in game one so was nice to see some runs scored today!

Yelich was hitting some long balls in batting practice and knocked out part of the Cubs Score board

Everything was ok until they had to go to Minnesota.

Minnesota is bringing this country to it's knees.

Obviously Minnesota picked them to infect since our offense is no threat to anyone.

This sucks and it's just one of the reasons I haven't been able to get excited about this make believe baseball season. How can any team find it's potential when they are in quarantine with no batting practice and days off disrupting play? I'll be surprised if any team completes a 60 game schedule the way this joke of a season has started.
