After watching the Twins play the Brewers this weekend there was one thing that boggled me the entire series

This season is a mess. Only a 60 game schedule minus the Cardinals.

Cardinals are playing a double header vs the White Sox today. They rented 41 cars and drove to Shitcago.

Side note....WTF is up with Lance Lynn? For the first time in his career he is not just a fast ball pitcher. When in STL he was about 90% fastball. Now he is around 55% iirc. Throwing a decent slider now.

Cardinals are playing a double header vs the White Sox today. They rented 41 cars and drove to Shitcago.

Side note....WTF is up with Lance Lynn? For the first time in his career he is not just a fast ball pitcher. When in STL he was about 90% fastball. Now he is around 55% iirc. Throwing a decent slider now.

It's amazing what another pitch can do for a pitcher who has had just mostly a fast ball throughout his time in the majors.

Since the 3 game series in STL were postponed they are playing 3 DH'ers in Chicago. During the 2nd game of each DH'er STL will be the home team and bat last.

Wouldn't it be nice to see a walk-off game ending celebration in Wrigley? Won't be quite as nice since no fans will there.

Our schedule is brutal after being out of action for so long. When we won the second game of the double header against the White Sox on Saturday we played with mostly a Triple A line-up but we can't expect to be that fortunate very often. When we lost to the White Sox on Sunday why was Hudson taken out of the game so early when he had only given up one run?

Yeah i saw its something like 10 double headers.

Twins and Cards are playing a double header now instead of the orginally scheduled 2 games in 2 days. Assuming that was to give a day off/make room for other games lol.

Twins are playing good baseball. I don't have a clue how many games the Cardinals can play in their 60 game schedule without totally giving out of gas with so many double headers now scheduled.

I'm really disappointed that we didn't sweep that double header with the Cubs on Monday. After beating their ace in game 1, we were the home team in game 2 with a lead late and our bullpen failed to get the job done.

You're probably right but Hudson still had a low pitch count at a critical point in the game when he was taken out. I don't normally question Schildt but on this one I do.
