Yesh that $16 million will come in handyI agree but you've still got a lot of valuable weapons on your roster and the winter meetings haven't even kicked into high gear yet.

Other than a catcher what do you feel are the Brewers biggest needs during the offseason?
Starter, 3B, corner Of/1B
Pirates hire the Twins bench coach as MGR. anybody know anything about him??
you are so right about that!!!
And yet there is much speculation that Hader may be "available"
There are very few relievers who are worth the kind of money he will win from arbitration in a couple of years. His value is at its highest right now.
Would I make a deal? Don't know. Show me what you are offering
Unless it is a "good" SP, some reliable bullpen help and a 3rd baseman with pop in his bat, hard pass.
Cardinals Sign Kwang-hyun Kim
Cardinals sign Kwang-hyun Kim for 2years 8MM.
Maybe he can be the Korean Miles Mikolas.
Lazt year 190 innings, 2.57 era, 180 K's, only 38 W's. Being in Korea it's hard to determine how those stats stack up.
Let's hope the Korean sensation will be a sensation in St. Louis. We have needed a quality lefthander in our starting rotation for a long time and it is my understanding that Kim will compete for our 5th starting spot in the rotation during spring training.
I also heard where CMart wants to start again. Kind of nice to have 6 options, albeit not all great options. Best case, Kim becomes a starter and then it comes down to CMart and Waino. Adam will get the nod to begin the season, obviously, but if he faulters, maybe a change to Martinez?
