Management and coaching makes the difference. It was inevitable that the cubs were going to the WS soon with a coach and manager with several WS' under their belt.
LOL...eggs, chikns before they hatch. Heard this song and dance before.scoutyjones be like "damn, Cubs look like the Cardinals and Cardinals look like the Cubs this September"
Get used to it for the next 6-8 years b i t c h...
"Oh noes! That's his syringe thumb! No 'roids for Yadier before the playoffs start!"
Hammer will like this
I'm beginning to believe the Cards, Bucs, and Cubs are incapable of losing to any team but each other.
This is ridiculous.
This weekend is going to be PRIME.
There have been 3 days this year when all 3 teams lost on the same day and 37 days when all 3 won on the same day... LOL
Before the year I had the Cubs at 95-67 so Im looking good there, of course I also had them winning the division with that record. In reality they could easily end up a few games better than that and still finish in 3rd. Thats crazy
Not sure. Didn't actually see the stat anywhere. Just looked at their schedules and did it myself. Pretty amazing when you consider they play each other so muchWhat's the record for that? As any other divisions had their top 3 only lose 3 times together? Or more than 37?
Can't get a runner in from third with one out in the ninth down by one at home.
