If the Cubs can win today I give them a legit shot at catching STL ( not a good shot but at least a legit one )... with 10 games left vs STL and PIT the Cubs at least can make a real push if they end the year playing like they have the last 40 games

Cardinals really put a stranglehold on the end of the regular season last year after underachieving all year.

Ironically its looking like things are slipping after overachieving this year.

The Cubs really just punched STL in the mouth. The Pirates did this a couple of years back and the Cardinals were able to respond so hopefully they can continue Chicago's legacy of failure
