Nike Uniforms

Did anyone else think the Nike Pro Combat uniforms in that BSU vs VT game last night were cool looking? I kind of wish NU used Nike I would be curious to see what they would have come up with for us.

nike has been making some pretty ugly uniforms and i would not want nebraska to switch from Adidas to Nike. I like the simplicity of uniforms like ours, Penn St, Oklahoma, etc.

I really liked the BSU uniforms. I think they were a great improvement to Boise's other uniforms.

I liked Boises old unis MUCH better...VTs looked alright

I would NEVER want Nebraska to go to that crap Nike makes, Nike puts colors in your uniform that aren't even your school colors..We would probably have black, red, white, and like yellow in our uniform combination.

Black is not a school color of VT
Black is not a school color of Oregon, yet everything Ducks is more black now then green
Grey,red,white,silver is not a school color of TCU

for every 100 uniform Nike creates that are God awful, there might be one that is alright, and that one has been VTs.

Last night's jersey's were alright but I thought the helmets looked better.
FSU's Nike Pro Combat jersey's last year was bad ass IMO.

If Nike made Nike Pro Combat jersey's for the Huskers you guys would be having circle jerks everyday with Landon being the pivot man.

From a Nebraska fan's viewpoint:

- Why mess with something that isn't broken, and why mess with tradition.


From a possible recruit's viewpoint:

- The "Oooo-Ahhh" effect sets in and they want to be flashy like all of the other guys on TV.

I think the number one thing that the Nike jersey's bring to a school is recruits. That's pretty much it.

Honestly, the younger generation loves those jerseys. When someone is torn between a school like Nebraska and a school like Oregon or the like, it's possible they pick the flashy school where they get a new jersey every week. I know it sounds stupid, but it's true.

I liked Boise St. but not the Va Tech ones. Ours couldn't be made to look any better than they already are. Some of these team's like Boise, Oregon, really needed some updating, the high school looking uni's they had were horrible. Arizona St. should really try and get in on this new fad.

Nike needs to make some money else where since the Tiger cash shovel is hung up for awhile.

ill agree with ya landon, our throwbacks for the 300th were pretty sweet,
but as for these new nike uniform things...

i loved the helmets, i thought those were pretty cool, as for the jerseys?
hell no, they are shit ugly, whats up with all the grey for boise, since when had va tech been all black?
