Probably wishes his last name was Dowd.

Been very impressed with Nic Dowd this season, winning key draws, being very aware of both ends of the rink and has shown some decent offensive skills. Nic Shore should probably look at that guy and see what he is doing to be a good player, especially offensively - Shore can't score into an empty net it seems.

Fitting he is wearing # 26, he reminds me a lot of Handzus.

Everyone is doing well. I don't know if the "machine" is back, but this seemed like playoff 101. Brown and Dowd seem to be bonding, and Budaj is solid. :noidea:

The Kings did play textbook Kings hockey, not going to take that away but consider it is the Leafs, pretty young team with defensive issues. It was obvious they were outmatched by LA and it happened in typical, methodical LA style. The first 5-10 minutes was all adrenaline by TO but then reality hit them.

They left Andersson out to dry tonight, not to mention the Kings got some really good bounces - Lewis and King with the bank shots, Carter's first from a nice pass by King after both Leaf defenders went to King leaving Carter pretty much alone, Pearson's goal because the Leafs left the zone before the puck was out and Kopitar jumping on it - so I think that needs to be considered. If anything, I think Montreal will be a good test Thursday because of Price, hope the Kings saved some goals from tonight and against Calgary.

Reminded me a lot of the 2006-2010 Kings, developing talent but nowhere near playing as a team and sorting issues out, who fits where, carving out an identity. Babcock is really detail oriented, and I think he is going to be a good coach for them when they reach that point - my only question is will he be around then, TO expects immediate results and even he may not survive that fickle bunch.
