I'm not sure I've ever seen anyone agree with themselves before.

the virus does not thrive in hot temps. if you are afraid to go on with your life then stay home under the covers.
I was in attendence at a huge outdoor gathering yesterday. no mask, no social distancing! plenty of handshakes
and hugs! plus we clearly had way more than 25 people!! :agree:
Please define hot temps? It will be 105+ the next few days. Is that hot enough?

I thought bettman did a good job explaining everything and answering questions.
Right up until he said the league will be ok... They have experience running a league with no games going on. Fuck you, very much, gar...

I thought he did too but it was very simple yet confusing. Kinda like a lot of information is being thrown at you and you have a short time to shift threw It.

As others have previously mentioned, what does the league do when a player or team member (coach, trainer etc.) tests positive for COVID-19? Obviously, I hope it doesn't happen, but if it does, does it just shut everything down? I mean, I could see a lot of players refusing to play for fear of contracting COVID-19 which could seriously impact the rest of their playing career.

You bring up a good point sir.

I was taking a look at some of those matchups.

I think Florida/ Islanders has the ability to be sneaky good

I think Edmonton/Chicago and Calgary/Winnipeg are must see matches

I really dont know if players would refuse to play. For that matter, i honestly dont know the position the nhlpa would even take if a player tests positive lol.

player safety never mattered and it looks like it doesnt now either ... Its astonishing to me that the 2 teams/reps that voted against the return to play plan didnt do so because of player safety concerns but because they (tbay and the canes) thought the playoff structure would make it harder for their teams to win lol

Not sure of round robin having a shootout to decide seeding. All else seems good.

Maybe the Sabres can pull an Edmonton and win the draft lottery again.

Sadly, I think this is true.
I think it's just impossible to keep it out completely. If people in the White House can get it, somebody associated with the league will, and no way can they keep it from spreading.

You'll either just have to live with it or not play any sports until there's a vaccine (or really good treatment).

Blue Jackets are 9th seed playing against Toronto who is 8th.

Two years in a row we are overwhelming underdogs.

Haha should be a good one TBH. But when Ive had 0 sports for 2.5 months my cockiness is naturally going to increase.

Outside of Zona and Chicago this is probably the most ideal match up.

Just hoping we get to see it happen.
