The cream has risen.

Not many weak spots on Montreal.

I like the Gonchar deal.

PP is seemingly awake.

A Cup winner from Canuckistan seems within the realm of possibility.

I'm still not understanding where Montreal's goalscoring is supposed to come from. They're still middle of the pack in that regard, and without that they're no closer to the mug than the Leafs.

Gonchar might give them the occasional offensive spark, but I'm not so sure he'll be able to hang with the speed of some of the teams in the playoffs. He took two penalties last night against a Wings team that brought their C- game with them.

Everybody has games they want back.

But since he arrived the PP has been alive after being MIA for so long.

And if you recall they did win the game.........

I think they're taking a scoring by committee approach. Also, as long as they get three, that should be enough to get at least one point most nights.

Goal scoring by committee.

Pacioretty will have 30-35, Gallagher will have 20 or so, Galchenyuk will have similar, etc.

PK Chelios will have 35-40 himself so things will be fine....

comeds has decommissioned the ORM©,

thereby invalidating any pretense of validity!

If I can get a home equity loan or something to pay for the electrical costs I may fire the ORM© up again some day.

I think that will be their problem too. Look at the stretch right before they got hot, they were averaging just over a goal a game for a couple weeks.

Gonchar might give them the occasional offensive spark, but I'm not so sure he'll be able to hang with the speed of some of the teams in the playoffs. He took two penalties last night against a Wings team that brought their C- game with them.

It seems to me the games slow down in the playoffs but I don't disagree with you. The trade doesn't bother me because I don't think they lost much but I don't think Gonchar helps much at all. If the Habs make the playoffs they might actually miss Moen's experience.

The way Montreal is playing this year I wouldn't be surprised if they where to make some noise in the playoffs, they're a goal scoring by committee team.

Gonchar will be gone at the end of the season, he's here to supply help to the PP and provide depth to the D corp...
its a good deal for Mtl....

I wanna see Tinordi and Beaulieu finally take the next step and become full time NHLers........Pateryn is close also.

I will forever love Sergei Gonchar, and he's still a magician on the PP. Other than that? You best limit his minutes per night. And his defensive zone starts, etc.

Interesting. Wonder how lower Chicago will go now that Kane is gone for the season.

I think Scott Cullen is possessed (and obsessed) regarding possession.
