NHL Panic Watch

I'm mildly panicking. Panicking at the very real possibility of finishing 9th - 13th.

I realize my team is in the 8th spot right now. However, finishing 15th is definately a possibility. I'm not panicing though. With the Isles roster I expect it.

What bothers me is the local paper Newsday doesn't hold the organization responsible for the lousy team they put on the ice. Heck the beat writer has looked bad by being scooped on things by the former beat writer who's now with Disney.

Meh, I'm not panicking, although I hear Baertschi fell awkwardly at practice today and may have twisted his knee.

The latest genius theory being that the Pens struggles at home are due to the fact that food and souveniers are 1/2 price for the first few games and the home fans are too busy shopping/eating to cheer. That lack of fan support is why the Pens just got wacked at home by the Isles. This is what happens when Stiller fans start paying attention to hockey.

When the owner says the powerplay better get it together before the Rangers game & they blow a 5 on 3 for an extended period of time I think Lavy is already feeling the heat. LOL
