Ducks losing intentionally so they don't have to play the Kings in the first round(if the Kings get in)

Karma has it's way of biting you in the ass - Penguins intentionally knocked out Steve Mason at the end of last season so they wouldn't have to face them in the first round, they ended up losing to the Rangers in the second round anyway

Ducks don't want to face the music because they know they're vulnerable

Calgary deserves to make the playoffs. Even if they wind up getting bounced by the Kings in the first, they deserve it.

That wasn't karma. That was SOP for the Pens in the playoffs (first/second round exit).

Boy was I wrong on this one. I thought for sure they' sit Talbot (3 games in 4 nights) and play the kid. Glad they didn't, Cam was great. Maybe they'll play the kid against Buffalo. I hope the Klein injury isn't serious, he's been real good for us

The Hayes, Hags and Miller line is really coming together. I wanted them to get a center to put between Hags and Hayes but Miller finally looks like he's getting his head out of his ass. Hayes seems to get better every shift. Big, skilled kid. This puts them 3 deep on lines that can score and the 4th line which has some excellent PK guys (The goal last night was the first PP against with Fast on the ice).

Any playoffs is better than no playoffs. They certainly deserve a spot over some of the other contenders.

Flames have a favourable schedule down the stretch where the majority of their games are against teams not currently in the playoffs. They certainly have control of their playoff density er destiny.
