The Panthers take a questionable goalie interference penalty at the end of the 3rd (was pushed into the goalie). As a result they not only go down 4-3 but with new rule of changing ends in OT, they had the long change from their own end. That's a pretty big double whammy in OT if you take a penalty. Panthers ice the puck and their 3 guys go for a change which results in a long pass sending Hedman in all alone for the winner.

Even the goaltending "issue" is blown a little out of proportion. We've got solid enough tendy's it's health that is a huge ?

I like Keumper. Hopefully Harding will be back at some point and stop fighting with teammates.

I was at work and didn't see the game, but that was ticky tack to be a penalty shot.

There were two penalties. Delayed penalty and then that happened. It was a penalty shot then a powerplay.

Sabres in mid-season form already. Strong goaltending lost by scoring only one goal. And that only because of a fantastic individual effort.

And with Chicago on Saturday and Anaheim on Monday we can already go ahead and chalk up an 0-3 start.

All those folks from Tucson and Yuma and Flagstaff who now feel welcome by the much more inclusive "Arizona" Coyotes made all the difference!
