What are the ratings based on? Is 100 a perfect player? If so then the Kings look pretty good in someone's eyes.

I believe so Ox, 89 or higher makes you a top 50 player. Kings have a great team in the game no doubt. Played them a few times in the demo & they got it all.

I think they had to make sure the Kings had 4 solid lines I think. Having an 88 rated player on the 4th line certainly gives them depth.

Smart player even if the points don't show it. Complete package sans a bit of size, just hope he gets his offensive game in gear this season.

His stats have not been impressive since he arrived in LA but he has come up huge in huge games and was a major part of 2 Cup wins, especially the first one - well worth an 88 to me.

I have no complaints with him being an 88. If he was an 89 I think it would be debatable because then he would be a top 50 player, but I'm fine with him being an 88.
