No negotiations for me this year. I cancelled after last football season. I got the Ticket for free the last 2 years and am pretty confident I could do it again, but I was tired of paying for 12 months of something I wasn't using. I pretty much get all the TV I need through some combination of streaming services. Sports can be tough.
I have some friends with the Ticket..... I might throw some dollars their way for their login info and then stream it to my television or computer. Or, I'll stick with my original plan of not watching the Bengals this season.
You would think, eventually, this will happen. As more and more streaming services become available, cable is going to be forced to compete. Hulu now offers live streaming with most of the channels I watch: ESPN, ESPN 2, Fox Sports, local channels, Disney for the kids...etc...$40 a month.Television should be al-a-cart when it comes to cable programming. I don't even like seeing all the other dang channels on my list, because I just have to scan through them. Granted, I could set up my menu to only show my stations, but I shouldn't have to. This is what i am paying for on a monthly basis, this is my charge. Oh, Reds season is over, I will cancel Fox Sports Ohio because I will not need it until spring. Simple, affordable, to the point.
Howd you get it for free this year?
