NFL Starting to Look Bad Over Suh Suspension

So now we have Mike Pereria, Bill Polian, and even the head ref from the game (who was a few feet from the incident) Walt Anderson, all coming out and publicly saying Suh shouldn't be suspended.

This does not look good for the NFL at a time when their image is pretty vulnerable and accusations of them "making it up as they go" have become all too common.

Let's hope they do the right thing and overturn this suspension who wouldn't have been given to any player besides Suh, despite the league's claim that his history was not a factor in heir decision...

This was a jacked up decision!

What he did wasn't a stomp but was stupid. Was it intentional probably but it's not something you can say definitely. We all know Suh is dirty or at best pushes his limits and if he did it on purpose it was a 15 yard penalty not a suspension.

It is hypocritical!

Early in the game Sunday Detroit got flagged for illegal motion...it was a bullshit call on Jed Collins when in fact the defense was in the neutral zone when a tackle jumped...but I digress. On that offside call a d-linemen blew up Swanson! A free cheap shot and they took it. Way to rattle a rookie starting his first game at center. Was it done on purpose? You damn right it was but it's not something you can prove. It happens but where is the outrage over the hit....that's right their is none because it's football!

The NFL doesn't care how it looks. I doubt this gets overturned but it'd be a nice surprise if it did.

I can see it being overturned because it is a playoff game. Will not be presented that way. JMO if it is overturned it would be mainly for that reason.

That's about right....well that is if they want a Dallas versus Green Bay Championship game! Seattle better watch out Sherman is ripe for a suspension too.

She is correct, but by who?

It happened on the 4th and 1 play he got. I just rewatched and looked for it. The play before he hit Reggie in the flat. See his sock before the snap and after during the meaasurement.

Slow motion it looks as if Pettigrew or #93 by his movements was blocked and stepped on him. He seemed to be the one who jerks his leg upward during the scrum. That is if was even him. No clear angle.

Then you see Matt finally look at it before they huddle up.

Sure they got better. What needs to be better is the run defense against them. Dallas has better OL and Lacy was prolly the best performance against them this year. At least yardage wise. Murray being stopped is key and making Romo beat us.
