He's been training for the combine with Kenny Powers. Forties and jet skis.

Skyler Beltran:

Rams GM, Les Snead, Said Raiders GM, Reggie McKenzie, Is The Smartest Guy In NFL #Raiders

He'd be high on my somewhat worthless list.

Wait, are you saying your list is somewhat worthless? Or are you saying he'd be high on the list of somewhat worthless football guys in the NFL? (Could be both, technically. Though I think your list would be a good one.)

The first one. Anytime a fan comes up with something, no matter how well researched they are, it has some worthlessness to it still in my opinion.

Ok, thanks. It didn't sound like you to call some touted guy worthless, but you do know and research a lot and the "somewhat" softened the hypothetical criticism, so I would give you the benefit of the doubt.

Bill Polian is a big believer in the 40-yard dash | ProFootballTalk

I'll repeat my stance on this topic because I'm very passionate about it. Every year there are so many fans that love to chime in on a player's combine when they didn't even see a player run. I personally don't care to hear any opinions or evaluations on anybody's times if one didn't see how a player looked when running. If one can't describe a player's form or technique, strengths or mistakes, then I have a hard time putting anything into that opinion.

i get the gist, and true. wouldn't "how you run" be more applicable for the shuttle, gauntlet, and the stuff linemen run?

Matt Furstenburg is at the combine? I'll be damned. I went all the way through high school with him. Good for him! Maryland has had some down years of late but his production picked up this season.
