LOL, Sorry guys I smoked a fat bowl and posted my trade idea that made no sense. At the time though I thought it was amazing. PSA, don't smoke and post on message boards...

Bring that idea up next NFL and I will back it. Different is good, why I pushed mine, it may flame, but we have never tried itLOL, Sorry guys I smoked a fat bowl and posted my trade idea that made no sense. At the time though I thought it was amazing. PSA, don't smoke and post on message boards...
Don't be a scaredy Goat
I liked my Super Bowl Draft Idea. Pick 1 player from each Super Bowl winner to a max of 3 from each team (So the Patriots who have 5 Super Bowls, you can pick from 3 of their winners). So you can have both Tom Brady from 2015 and Gronk from 2017.
I'll go with whatever but I think this is a good idea.
I seriously do need to spend more time
Actually I like this idea.
One thing when picking, the players you pick from a grouping wouldn't HAVE to have been the starters, just on the team. For example, if Ritz chose the 89 Raiders QB/RB/FB and wanted to use Bo Jackson instead of Marcus Allen as the RB, that's allowed, as Jackson was the backup RB. He could not take both guys though, as he could only take 1 QB, 1 RB AND 1 FB from the 89 Raiders squad
This draft will only be 14 rounds, should be done quickly. After the full rosters are complete, everyone will need to pick their starting lineups from their complete squad before the playoffs begin
Forgot to finish this, I need to spend more time working, I am busy as all get out!
Exactly. Example pick would be -So once we draft the team we're selecting, I'm assuming we have to immediately list the players we're using right? To avoid duplicate players?
Exactly. Example pick would be -
93 Cowboys QB/RB/FB, Aikman, Emmitt, Moose
Later in the draft I select the 88 Dolphins group of Marino, Davenport and Martin.
At the end, I would start Marino, Emmitt and Moose, but this would be a draft where we actually would give weight to the backups, like any real team, do they have a good backup QB, a third down back, a wildcat package..
not sure if this was implied by @UK Cowboy 's rules or not...
But I think to make his idea work, an owner can NOT use a team twice or a year twice...
so if I pick NY jets 2018(because Sam Darnold is GOD), I can not use 2018 again NOR can I use the Jets Franchise again...
also, I know we think we want to use special teams as a category, but why?? nobody is going to look at it, not even for a tie breaker... and it is going to be everyone's last pick... if the pick is going to be a throw away, then why do it in the first place???
Holy shit the world is ending, I agree with everything Milk just said.
That's a great freaking Idea...starters in one half can only play sub packages in the other, third and fourth WR, CB, etcI would say make it so that you have to make two half lineups. That way you factor in all 48 players. No player can be in both halves. Up to the GM's to decide how to place the players they draft.

I didn't say play the starters 1 half. I said you split them up as you see fit. So if you had Marino, you might have to play him with your 3rd and 4th receivers.
