U sure? If he never plays a snap?
U sure? If he never plays a snap?
I'm sure and rather than going back and forth on this, I researched to make sure.

Winning the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year award while being injured for the entire season would be extremely unlikely. The award is given to the top-performing offensive rookie, and consistent performance throughout the season is typically a key factor.

If a player is unable to play, they wouldn't have the opportunity to showcase their skills and contribute to their team's success, which are the crucial elements considered by the voters. So, for 2024 he won't and can't win OROY, of that I'm sure.

Additionally;

If a player is not on the roster, even on injured reserve (IR) during their first season, they are not considered a rookie the following season. Being on the roster counts towards their rookie eligibility, so they would be classified as a second-year player when they return.

This and if they can finish the Simmons visit makes the Falcons very interesting this year.

You don't like Tom, sty? Lol
Well, since you're wondering, Brady is supposed to be the G.O.A.T. because he led his teams to 7 NFL titles, correct? What if I told you that there was another QB long before Brady who did the same thing?

His name...Bart Starr, and he played at a time when you could kill QBs and it was all legal. (5 NFL titles and 2 SB wins) These QBs also called their plays in the huddle.

Even at 6 titles I didn't have Brady as the GOAT, but bringing a title to Tampa sealed it for me.

Let me ask... If Brady is the GOAT because of his titles, wouldn't it be fair to say that these guys are also the G.O.A.T at their respective positions because they won multiple titles alongside him? #11 is especially intriguing or is the G.O.A.T thingy only reserved for QBs?

New England Patriots

  1. Tedy Bruschi - Linebacker
  2. Troy Brown - Wide Receiver
  3. Kevin Faulk - Running Back
  4. Matt Light - Offensive Tackle
  5. Richard Seymour - Defensive End
  6. Adam Vinatieri - Kicker
  7. Julian Edelman - Wide Receiver
  8. Rob Gronkowski - Tight End (He was in Tampa too!)
  9. Devin McCourty - Safety
  10. Patrick Chung - Safety
  11. Stephen Gostkowski - Kicker (He was there for six titles)

It's not just titles for me. Leadership, clutch, had one elite WR and went 16-0. He had Gronk, but never really had WR's. Great defense for sure though.

Ok, but what are your thoughts on the question posed?
