Once considered a very credible sports journalist, Whitlock has catered to divisive, often incoherent sports absurdities and now has zero credibility. I'm saddened to see him throw away his talents in the manner that he's done so.

Btw; There's more to be said about your response and @Dads post, just know that it's coming but not before I properly gather my thoughts on the subject.
I think the Chargers might be using Vrable and Pete as negotiating tactics against harbaugh's demands. Harbaugh fits too well for the LAC for them to miss out on him. Plus it lets the owners try and cast aside the "cheap" label they've been (correctly) saddled with to this point.

Glad he's in the AFC.
Me too. As Niner fan, I was a little afraid that he'd take the Seattle job--it'd give him two chances every year to stick it to the Niners. So glad he went to the AFC. Still, he picked a tough division to join, but he got the open job that already had a franchise QB. Smart move.Glad he's in the AFC.
Harbaugh would have been a homerun hire for Harris or anyone, but I think he wants Peters and Johnson to be here long term. Sustainable situation. Eventually Harbaugh would have made Harris choose imo.Me too. As Niner fan, I was a little afraid that he'd take the Seattle job--it'd give him two chances every year to stick it to the Niners. The guy can coach. He's succeeded wherever he's been. And he can attract top level assistant coaches (an underrated quality).
