I think we are close to the day when a qb will get 75 million a year. We will be there in 10 years. Mahomes or Rodgers is 50 million right? Then, it will be 100 million.
On deck, are Jaylen Hurts, (this year) Joe Burrows, Justin Herbert, and Trevor Lawrence (next year) At least a couple of these guys will approach the 65M mark with increases in TV and cable revenue! The biggest question going forward is guaranteed money and/or evidence that the league owners are colluding to lower salaries.

Not going to argue the details because there are apparently different reports, let's wait and revisit this when things settle and there's more clarity.

BTW: how about this Geno Smith re-signs with the Hawks 3 years, $105M that includes $52M in the first year? (26.5M in years 2-3)
Agreed

bears got a 1st, 2 2nds, and Dj Moore. Plus, the swap. What do you think?
I always felt it made more sense to trade down than trade Fields. I'm not sold on Fields, but I don't see a Burrow or Lawrence in this class, so why not go get a hual.

I agree the Bears had to trade down. I meant do you think the Bears got enough to go to #9?

I think they got what they could based on the value of the pick. If Bryce didn't measure out at 5'11 maybe they get more. Stroud or AR15 could go #1 overall as well.

Its a bold move for CAR. Depends on how you value DJ. IF they value DJ as a late 1st then it's a haul. It will be interesting to see who the QB is at #1.

You never know .,. Washington could end with an owner like Carolina's. Let's try QB #481.

I think it’s Stroud

It seems like he is the front runner. I wonder what Houston thingk about this or are they happy with Young. Now the #3 pick should be up for sale. The Raiders need to jump Indy. Indy is probably happy with AR or Levis at #4.

Even after the trade Car still has a 2nd, 3rd, and two 4th's in this year's draft. Plus, they held on to their 2025 first round pick.

You dont think parents can be racist? THAT is unbelievable.

I dont think that, at the time, what his parents said to him in this clip - that cornrows make you look like a “young thug,” and that “they’re not professional,” is all that racist though….

Sounds to me like a mother looking out for her child.

Not to get political at all here, but what man has not had their parents tell them to cut their hair or shave?

My parents lost their mind when I was in high school and college...lol

I got a similar lecture in different terms. Again, not even referencing the article or addressing kapernicks situation or passing any judgment. I simply had flashbacks to my own life and experience.
