Niners selected Odell Beckham WR LSU with the first pick

Niners traded up to early 2nd to select Marcus Roberson CB Fl

My second 2nd rd target still remains... dont give it away!

Nicely done Calamity. Whatever you do don't draft David Yankey. JMHO. My realistic favourites (not sure who's left):

Roby, Fuller, Joyner, Su'a-Filo, Verrett, Easley, Moncrief, Jordan Matthews, Jean-Baptiste, Swanson, Davante Adams, maybe Purifoy if he's there & a few others.

Yankey was already taken in the first.... no worries....

A lot of your suggestions were taken, I was actually targeting Marcus with Fuller as a backup in case Marcus was taken right before my eyes... I went with Marcus. Jean-Baptiste is my target later in the 2nd however, I'm not sure if he'll last and I'm not thinking of another move up.

out of your list, Verrett(IIRC), Easley, Moncrief, JB, Swanson, Adams are available. I think Purifoy was taken not sure.

Fuller was taken one or two spots after our selection of Roberson... I was hoping for Fuller to fall back but it wasn't likely.

Personally I would've drafted Kelvin Benjamin with the first pick. Beckham was my 2nd choice. But overall, I like what I see

Given the scenario, It was between OBJ vs KB.... I was weighing the options and I went with the deep threat potential over size... I figured I could target the size later on with Moncrief or groom someone like Martivas Bryant... or steal Jordan Matthews but didn't work out.

I think CB with the next pick unless you see a good solid grouping of players of similar attributes, then go Moncrief. I don't see Moncrief lasting past the 2nd round. He is actually my favorite WR in this draft in terms of upside and he doesn't look to shy away from contact, and does a great job IMO of using his body to shield away defenders.

I feel like there is far better quality depth at CB in this draft then there is at WR.

But hey, what the fuck do I know?

I disagree with myself actually. I'm thinking Moncrief if our next pick is bottom of the 2nd, then utilize the depth at CB to pick up a CB. If a player like Easley is still on the board in the 3rd, picking up a another talented, yet injured player to add to team depth may be a better long term best interest.

This was the trade:
Titans 2.10 & 4.12 to 49ers for 2.24, 3.13, 5.30 & 6.29

Yes it was KC's pick... I needed to move up to grab a top CB, i felt the price was worth it... gained an early 4th for a third...

I'm not to worried since I have a third left still n now two 4ths
