There are six QBs that are projected to be better than Howell. We know Chicago, Skins, and NE take a QB.

NYG- Let’s say they take JJ.

Arizona- Yes they have Kyler Murray, but they are not happy with him. SH gives them a low cost option as a replacement if things don’t go well.

Rams- Stafford is old.

Minn- Has no QB

NYJ- Rodgers can teach for a year or two.

PITT- Wilson is on a one year deal.

IND- has no QB.

LV-has no QB.

DEN- has no QB.

Indy has Richardson. There is a market for Howell. I just think 3rd round is a big ask. Im thinking 4th round. Plus, Fields is still available.

I still think getting a 3rd for him is a huge stretch.

He is a solid player.
I hope we draft LB early. We need a LB.
I am done with Davis as well, so a young backup who can take over would be welcomed.
I think Jamin with be a 3rd down go get the QB guy. Hoping Quinn can salvage him.

NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero reports free agent EDGE Chase Young is expected to visit with the Panthers and Saints.
The 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year has had an up-and-down start to his career through four seasons. A torn ACL plagued him in 2021 and 2022, but when he finally made it back in 2023, Young managed just 25 tackles and 7.5 sacks while splitting time between the Commanders and 49ers. In addition to his injuries, the former No. 2 overall pick has also had his effort on and off the field drawn into question at times, which may be factoring into his slow start to the legal tampering period. According to Pelissero, “a handful of teams have expressed interest” in signing Young, which isn’t surprising. At just 24 years old, his youth coupled with his potential will make him an intriguing options for teams looking to upgrade at pass rusher.

Im curious on what he gets for money.

Commanders have agreed to terms with DE Dante Fowler, formerly of the Cowboys.
Fowler is yet another former Cowboy now set to join Dan Quinn in Washington. Fowler was drafted by the Jaguars with the No. 3 overall pick in 2015 and has spent the last two seasons in Dallas, totaling 40 tackles, 10 sacks, and three forced fumbles. His breakout year came in 2019 when he totaled 11.5 sacks with the Rams and has played primarily in pass rush situations for his career. He becomes the third pass rusher to join the Commanders during this legal tampering period as Quinn continues to address one of the team’s biggest needs.
