You have 7 position groupings you have to fill, you use 2 franchises for each grouping. You can use a maximum of 2 groupings per franchise. So you will be using a total of 8 franchises at least to fill your squad and the different groupings.
So you're making your own teams, but with position groups from different franchises? That sounds better.

I think the max 5 groupings per franchise would eliminate using less franchises so I think 1950-2000 will be fine for years....

OR

we can do 1960-2010

I'd prefer 1960-2010

What if a player played for two different franchises the same number of years?

EX: Deion played for the Falcons and Cowboys for 5 years. He is eligble for both those teams or do we go to more games?

I prefer 1960- current...

I want there to be at least a choice to take Carolina LBs and Houston DEs

I'm okay with either choice, but more games makes sense if we want to avoid duplicate players. Can include playoff games if it helps.

No, for this I don't think a player should be eligible at 2 different...

2 options

1. franchise a player started his career with
2. franchise a player played the most games with(tie breaker goes to whichever team was first)

Yeah.

To qualify a player for a specific team: 1. seasons 2. games 3. playoff games with that franchise

I like that tiebreaker.

2 more things before we start...

1. right now the end result is 16 offensive players and 13 defensive, do we want to even that out a little??
2. is there a rule on how many PLAYERS from the chosen franchise position we can roster?? For example we use 2 franchise for the WR/TE group- there are 6 players in that group, do we roster 3 players from each franchise, or can we roster 5 from one franchise and one from the other??

1. I will even it out.
2. There should not be a limit. If you want to take 5 players from one franchise or 1 from the other...it's your choice.

I will update the rules.

Ritzy and Femur remember the draft is tonight...

Sad state of affairs when y'all got Uncle Milky making rules.

I don't think we need a backup QB.

I would rather add kickers, punters and returnmen
