Jason Garrett has been the HC for 8+ years yet has only made the playoffs 3 times and won 2 playoff games over that span. Almost at all times during that span the Cowboys had a talented roster.

I have no idea how Cowboys can attempt to pretend to act there is any reason to take the Cowboys seriously when it comes to contending for a championship. No matter how talented their roster is they will never even go on a deep playoff run, much less win the Super Bowl, with Jason Garrett as the HC.

Talking about regular season match-ups as if it is anything to write home about. Doug Pederson era Eagles are about winning championships. If the Eagles and Cowboys were to meet up in the playoffs there would be absolutely no fear of the Eagles losing that game.

The Redskins look like they have a lively three-way QB battle going between Dwayne Haskins, Case Keenum and Colt McCoy.

That's probably good, because if they wind up starting Erek Flowers at LT and rookiue Wes Martin at LG as currently looks to be the case, they may need multiple QBs to start games this year.

Three biggest storylines from start of Redskins training camp

Yeah, LeBlanc is expected to miss several weeks. And they already have Jalen Mills and Ronald Darby, the expected starters, recovering from injury.

But hey, at least they are in camp and stuff. Here is a photo of Zeke in Mexico "preparing for the season."

For the last 25+ years we have enjoyed the Cowboys futility. We laugh at you fans every year saying the Cowboys are going to win the Superbowl. We have laughed at the implosion. Over the last 25+ years the Cowboys have put up some resistance but for the most part they have been the Eagles bitch. Will continue to be the Eagles bitch.
If you are going to show your true colors and act like a typical jackass Eagles fan after your one Super Bowl win at least get the number of years right in your rant because you may want to tally up those last 25 super bowl winners again before you start talking shit.

I might actually worry about the redskins if Alex Smith was healthy.

King Checkdown is not to be feared.
they were in 1st place last year before he got injured.
King Checkdown while not sexy, knows how to get victories.

I think your premise is right but I’m not sure you know enough about what you are saying. Cowboy fans have been very critical of Garrett. Most wanted him shown the door when Rob Ryan was. He has not been good enough and even after last year many wanted him gone. But the coaching staff has been overhauled recently even with Garrett still there. One thing Garrett is good at is fostering competition and teaching guys the right way to do things and that hope you practice is how you play. This is no longer a soft team that plays like they are entitled and handed jobs.

Coaching isn’t one guy. The defense has totally changed with Richard brought into the mix. Marinelli is a legendary motivator and tactician but he wasn’t getting the job done on game day IMO. We now see halftime adjustments and more creative schemes and less predictability about what we are doing with regards to man vs zone in certain situations. The offensive coaches have been completely overhauled. Dam now has a true QB coach to help with his mechanics and to help him with the little things that require constant drilling and to help him learn how to take the reading of defenses to another level. They finally have a OL coach that works well with this group for the first time since Callahan left and the improvement showed the day they got rid of Alexander who was just a disaster here with his stupid hand technique methodology.

Lastly the change to Moore is the biggest of them all. He failed miserably as a QB coach and that just didn’t seem like his thing. Almost every Cowboy fan hated the move at first and that out Garrett deeper in the dog house. But He is more a creative big picture guy and not a guy to just focus on technique and footwork like a QB coach needs to. We will find out this year if that last move is a huge winner or the same old same old. If you understood what the real issues were with the Dallas Offensive coaching and followed the team you would know that what he is doing already is exactly what they needed and looks incredibly promising. It’s the same offense but it should look completely different to opposing teams. BUT, we won’t know the real results of this one until the season starts and probably not until we are about halfway through. But there certainly is reason for hope.

On your comment about Pederson, that is just asinine and pure Philly misplaced bravado. The guy won one championship and has been there a few years but you think he is Belichick and that in his era they are all about winning championships? :L

Boo fucking hoo. Crying because I said 25+ years. Ok......since we want to be technical. The Cowboys last one the Superbowl after the 95 season. So it has been 24 years.....not 25. OMFG the world is going to end.

Fuck the Cowboys ...... They suck.

Well I can see you've done a lot of talking yourself up this offseason to belief that Kellen Moore is going to be the savior for this team at OC that will push them into title contention. That's a lot to pin your hopes on a first year OC, who as you said was not a good position coach, to be able to overcome the completely lackluster head coaching of Jason Garrett. Good luck with that.

And the Pederson era is all about winning championships because we have won a championship and continue to compete for championships. The guy only dumped the most points ever on a BB coached team in the playoffs and did so with a backup QB. Doug is just a winner at HC. Jason is just a body whose greatest accomplishment has been keeping his job this long despite a lack of actual success.

If Pederson is all about championships and Garrett sucks why did the Cowboys win the east last year?

Why does it matter? Talking about winning and competing for championships here and you're talking about regular season games. I guess when your team hasn't won a Super Bowl in decades and the complacency of your ownership keeping a bottom tier HC around makes sure you aren't a realistic threat to win one anytime soon then you gotta try to hang your hat on some regular season games since the postseason success just doesn't exist.
