Wentz has weapons around him now, a semi revamped Oline then you factor in the front 7 of the Eagles defense and young and aggressive secondary.... 10-6 write it down!

Redskins: Please the only good thing coming out of DC this season will be Cousins will finally get out of there and play for a team that really wants him

Cowboys: They can't field a team with all these suspensions, Hell the only thing that scares me about this team is which week Dez Bryant comes out on national TV crying that Dak "isn't his QB"!

All that stuff doesn't change the fact that the Eagles schedule is ROOUUUGH. I want the Eagles and Redskins do to good to get rid of the damn Cowboys, trust me. But idk if that can happen this year. Eagles have a tough schedule and the Skins' schedule is tougher. Gonna be tough but the Eagles can improve on last year at least.

Because the Jets don't have a QB and play the same division as the patriots. You might be able to talk yourself into the 1 in 50 being about right.

I for one am not going the say the Eagles are going to win the east. Do they have a shot. Yes they do....more than they did last year. Until dethroned the Cowboys are the kings of the east.

Last year the Eagles beat them in a meaningless game. The first game the Eagles were dominating them for most of the game and some bad play calling may have cost them. However props have to be given to the Cowboys offense as well. Last year they were an offensive juggernaught and the only way to beat them was to match their offens and that was just too much for the Eagles who had a horrible secondary.

This year the Eagles on paper can take the East. However I am not ready to say they are the team to beat. I need to see how the new team plays during the start of the regular season.

It's the NFC East. Other than predicting that someone new is likely to win each year, it is silly to puff your chest out and predict much of anything, if you have paid attention the last 40 years.

The Eagles had a run in the 2000s where they dominated the division (and never won anything), while the Cowboys dominated in the 1990s (and won 3 rings). But generally speaking, few teams have even had back to back seasons winning the division.

I don't see how this division is anything but a toss-up.

Maybe the Eagles leapfrog the Cowboys and Giants. But that assumes that Wentz learns how to throw downfield. People expecting Wentz to be dramatically better as a 2nd year player are ignoring how past 2nd year QBs tend to play.

The Giants could win the division. Provided that their OL can be more than terrible which is a big assumption.

The Cowboys could win the division. But they also have a 2nd year QB and their stud RB missing 40% of the season.

Heck the Redskins winning the division is hardly outside the realm of possibility. If I were a gambling man I would probably bet on them giving the likely odds.
