Eagles aren't going to win the SB this year but they are A TEAM ON THE RISE.

With the Redskins and Cowboys losing, the Eagles all but clinched the division last night. In fact, I think they may be able to formally clinch it next weekend with a win against the Bears, if Dallas loses on Thanksgiving, which would not be shocking.

Can't clinch just yet. If the Eagles win this weekend, and Cowboys lose on Thanksgiving, Cowboys can still win the division if they win-out and Eagles lose-out. Cowboys would be 5-1 in the division if that happened and Eagles would be 4-2, both teams at 10-6 and split the season series.

Yeah the earliest any division can be wrapped up is week 13. When the AFC North, AFC East, and NFC East could all potentially be clinched.

I read it and want to say, "yeah like that's gonna happen" then all of a sudden I have this pain in my chest, yeah I'm just not going to say anything at this time...

I can't imagine the Eagles not winning the NFC East with a few weeks to spare. But, they can't stop then and say "We got this." Backing off because they've clinched could cause them to get complacent and stale, and set them up for a playoff upset.

No doubt the division is over. HFA will be over in a few weeks. Eagles should be a huge favorite right now to make the SB out of the NFC. Only a colossal choke will keep them out of the SB this year.

Not sure about best, but they are the most dangerous team in the NFC.

Rams, Seahawks, Vikings, Saints, Eagles and maybe even the Panthers could end up in the SB. From the AFC, it's hard to imagine anyone but the Pats or Steelers.
