I'm wondering does it say we cant draft players outside 1970 - 2009? It just says we have to take four players from each of those decades. He used him for a team not a decade.

The decades were only put in place to get us 48 not as a set rule on whom can be drafted.

I was just under the impression teams and decades are separate. Teams includes anyone who played/plays for the franchise and decades means 4 players from whatever team who began playing in said decade.

The MLB pool went from 1880 to 2010. And I'm pretty sure nobody who started in 1870 was selected. I know I considered someone and then didn't draft him since I thought he was ineligible.

Absolutely but this is different, the year restriction applies to the decades we have to pick for, the team selection is separate in that we pick someone from every team. Just as we don't have to pick only from certain teams when we make a pick for a decade we don't have to pick only from certain years when we pick a player for a team.

I’ll get 2 more crack at it before I have to take a class again. Failed State part by 2 questions but got my ass handed to me on national section. Got a 46 but needed 56 to pass. Oh well at least it tells me the sections I should focus on.

This draft would become very very difficult if we had a year restriction. The only reason we didn’t do from 60-present is to make it an even 48 players
