I think I heard that about Jake Long, Jared Cook, etc. It's a pipe dream Jermaine to think that trading for Rivers is going to propel this team forward when the opposite would happen. Besides, Rivers has 7 kids. He ain't moving to St Louis just to move again back to LA in a couple of months. Not going to happen but you can dream on.

I know it's a pipe dream and it won't happen but I believe Rivers would propel the team. Look what Warner did to a Cards team and Palmer? Both whom were supposedly washed up but took their team to the next level. Call me an NC State homer but the guy could always ball.

Anything is possible Jermaine, but our track record with high priced vets in the twilight of their careers has been abysmal. Like I stated, you can dream all you want.

I think Rivers has more in the tank but I don't think he does better with a change of scenery. As a matter of fact, to RR's point, I think he does worse and by that I mean anywhere other than San Diego.

well since you put it that way, we can't protect Foles so we damn sure can't protect Phil. I'll make that trade on Madden though lol.

I like Flip Rivers. I like his competitive edge and how he is in ALL of his teammates face if they are not on the same page. Flip is leading the NFL in passing yards I believe.


But San Diego might be more pass happy of an offense than the Eagles. I bet they didn't run the ball 5 times in the entire 2nd half of the Packers game. Dam near tied it at the end too.


Flip 5 years ago sure, but not now and not with this offense.
