I HATED harbaugh when he was in SF, and was soooo happy when the upper brass decided to let JH go.

Yeah, I think any of the really good offenses could score in the 20s if they play well or if Michigan comes out sloppy like vs Colorado.

IF UW is in the playoff they win this week against Utah
If Utah recovers and other teams falter and they still makes the Pac 12 title game, they lose that to UW also.
a 3 conference loss team isn't making it over a 1 loss WSU if they win out besides UW. or even a 2 loss if that happens

I got a chance to see the 1987 Rose Bowl recently on Classic Sports between ASU and Michigan. I like watching some of those old throwback games from other eras. Harbs really struggled in that one and served up three picks and they lost by a touchdown. I believe that was also the same year that Vinny Interceptaverde won the Heisman over him if I'm not mistaken.

Bama? Quite possible, they'd get beaten pretty good. Clemson? I'm guessing you haven't watched many Clemson games.

And losing to either team, no matter what the score, wouldn't be humiliating. Now losing to Penn State, that is another story. Thankfully, we squeaked by PSU 49-10 -- I give PSU props, they were finally able to score a TD against our backups in the 4th quarter. (sorry, you set yourself up for that)


As I've said -- I don't think any team will derail Alabama this year -- the talent they have is ridiculous. If we could use OSU's offense and UM's defense -- I like our chances. This is why I said it is a shame UM has the defense they have this year, without an elite QB.

Alabama fans on [redacted] are mad that people think Michigan's defense is elite, too.

Now the one fan here insulted by my comment that I don't think anyone would score 30+ on a healthy Michigan defense is an Alabama fan.



Why are Alabama fans so reluctant to give other teams credit where it is deserved? Michigan is #2 in the country with a pretty average offense. Why is that? It's because the defense is elite. Nothing homerish about that.
