New Song Sucks

Im a season ticket holder and went to the game last night and they changed the God damn Score song. The new song is a joke and 18,000 people were booing every time we scored because of the song. It took all the fun out of last night. New ownership suck and thinking about dropping my season tickets. It was a joke last night. They didn't let any of the chants go.

The negative reaction from the crowd it got was intense.. You could hear a loud boo as it started and when it ended

i knew they changed it but they never released what it was going to be.


i couldn't tell what it was from the tv last night but i did hear the boos i thought it was maybe bruuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu for brunner scoring the goal.

when they changed it last they let the fans vote on the devils website. stuff like this should really be left to the fans to decide

thats the song. it doesn't really fit because your only playing it for 20-30 second clip. they obviously changed it because the you suck being chanted

i dont mind the you suck but save it for only important games like against the rangers flyers or pens. or even for the playoffs. chanting it going up 1-0 against the panthers in game 20 of the season is stupid. even worse is when they chant it and we are losing the game!

i know the game wasn't a sell out but still 16,000 last night and damn it was pretty quiet in there. i remember there was a face off i think in overtime and they were playing beastie boys you gotta fight. the music was either so loud or it was so quiet in the arena it was like i was watching the music video and not the game


one more thing i noticed.....is it too much to ask our owner to throw on a jersey instead of just throwing on a cap he looked like he plucked out of the team store with the tag still attached?

Of course they're not. People hate change. It would be a universally loved song and people would still hate it.

i was reading they changed the goal horn also? it still sounded the same to me.


on a side note....i'm all for changing that i think every arena has the same type of horn i dig what the caps do witht theirs its different

That's funny.
Chanting you suck is ok when you are 15 but when you are 30, or 40 or older, it doesn't seem right.

Reminds me, a few years back some guy started a Marty's better chant while the Devils were down like 4-1.
There is a time and place for that.

What a mess this has become. How the hell does a billionaire just go ahead and do this move without testing it in the preseason? Not sure if its true but I read that they had the old song running all preseason?

Poll the season ticket holders since its their butts you have to kiss. If the vote is close to change it then give some options ans let the fans vote.


Hurricane siren makes sense tilo not sure what they could do in jersey but a horn isn't unique.

I personally would not have changed the goal song. However, let the fans decide. Throw out like 20 songs and let them vote on it. Don't force something on us and expect an instantaneous galvanizing of 18,000 people.
