Stupid example. We dont need more WR help. You wont see big time WR;s in Fa come here right now, b/c we dont need the help. The team disagrees with you on needed a QB and WR like you always proclaimed. You are a hater. Just admit it. Anything this team does you will take the negative apprach.

Stupid to think that there's always room to improve at WR or any spot huh?
It's interesting to note that this team traded for Wince then used their 1st round draft pick to get a WR because you think that both those moves makes them "set" at those positions and made me wrong about needing both a QB and WR before either was acquired? Like I've stated that's an interesting bit of mumbo-jumbo!!

I will agree with you on one thing though and that is, I'm dead set against doing things half assed as the team has been doing for the last 22 years! If that makes me a "hater" so be it, but let me make something perfectly clear... anybody that "loves" this team to the point of being content with non-winning mediocrity, has a extremely out of touch, asinine, backward definition of "hate" and "love"

they moved apke to CB . and no i am not telling you he made the team as solely as a wr . so put aside your absolutism aside and try to understand simple things .

he made the team because he could ALSO contribute on offense . in todays NFL kick returns are rare and virtually anyone can do it and even the best rarely avg more then 25 yds per return . he avgd 17 snaps per game on offense BEFORE injuries and regardless if you want to claim it was an EMERGENCY role the fact still remains in preseason they ran plays for him in the OFFENSE

if he couldnt have contributed on OFFENSE AS WELL AS RETURN kicks he would have and should have been cut

apke should have long since been cut but they tried him at CB last year not safety to see if they could get more use out of him . below are his career stats on DEFENSE , something he has to do if he is to stay on an NFL roster

So if you are not telling me that, then Carter made the team as our returner. Samuel and Brown basically never played this year. So yes he was the EMERGENCY WR. That is why he got on the field as a WR. If those guys were healthy Carter would not of played WR.

Apke was kept on the roster last year b/c he is a good gunner. Yes they tried to move him to CB to try to selvage his career as a defensive back but it didnt go well. If we get a new gunner most likely Apke will be released.

Total slap in the face to this front office. Again Howell was drafted b/c there is no confidence in TH and will be gone next year. This was the intent.

it is fair and right to criticize moves the team makes . i believe they over drafted players and didnt get the value for the picks . i also feel they passed on difference makers

that doesnt make anyone a "hater"

however i as a fan ( in this case observer) i dont have to be a complete homer wearing rose colored glasses

dean has a standard of mediocrity , you and i have a standard of excellence . both are right to have . i like to have a team that competes for superbowls , dean is simply happy having a team

I'm sticking with it too.. Even with but more important because they decided on Wince, this team STILL needs a QB.

Howell will require a year but more likely two years to be ready , but to his misfortune this team after the Wince will likely be in position to draft a more starter ready QB in 2023.

I can guarantee you this as well, Wince's play will be reason why some will say Howell isn't the guy either. It will go something like this because we've heard it before here... "if Howell can't play better than this...then."
