If a player is diving/on his way to the ground as Harvin was, where else can you hit him? A helmet to the knee and tore ACL you prefer?

In the replay it looked like Harvin lowered his head into the hit. Like he knew the hit was coming and kind of crunched up lowering his head and taking a worse hit.

Not sure how you prevent that as a defender.

I dont know. From pee-wee up you are taught to go lower on the other guy to make the tackle. Not doing it should be instinctive.
