The Saints will be one and done in the playoffs.

Highly doubt that considering if they make the playoffs it would be as division winner which means they will have at least one home game....but we'll find out more about this in January

Lewis locked up Benjamin in addition to some poor Cam throws

SP pretty pissed off about the Saints having a TNF after playing on Sunday Night game.

I don't blame it at all.

No way should you play a SNF game the game before your TNF game. They did the same garbage with Denver last week but at least both of their games were at home.

At most they lose one of those games.

I have seen nothing from Cincy after their first 3 games to suggest that they come here and beat this team. Ravens are good but teams just don't win in the dome in primetime.....it just doesn't happen as you can see by their 13 straight wins at home in primetime.

The team with the best chance to beat them out of those 3 will be San Fran. They have the defense you need to come in here and get a victory

You said easily be 7-4. Losing one would not put them at that mark.

Winning 2 of 3, sure. Winning all 3 is anything but easy. That was the point.

If you want to nitpick about every word of every comment I make go ahead.

I'm pretty sure I said they can easily be 7-4, not that they will be 7-4. Big difference in using can & will.

I believe in my team and nothing you or anyone on here say will change my opinion on my team. I think the Saints will be 7-4 and if you don't that's fine. They have a great track record of not losing at home with SP as the coach. Last time they were defeated in the superdome with Payton coaching was January 2nd, 2011 and that was a game where most of the starters were benched. Last time they were defeated at home where the starters actually played with Payton as the coach was week 2 of the season against Atlanta.

Sorry if I think the Saints will go 3-0 on their homestand

You are one sensitive little guy.

All I said is it isn't easy. I didn't say your team sucks, nor did I question your loyalty to them. FFS :L

Who said it would be easy? I clearly said they can be 7-4 and by using can there is a clear hint to anyone that I don't think it will be easy

If I thought it would be so easy, I would've said the Saints will be 7-4 after the 3 game homestand.

Fail.

You can keep trying to change things, but your words were clear. The word EASILY was the key. Now you say you really didn't mean easily because of the word CAN. Holy fuck dude. Grow up.

It's not going to be easy to win 3 straight. That is all.

This is a waste of time.

You're obviously the genius here and I'm obviously the idiot.

You're the first person who I've seen on any message board (and I been on message boards since 2008) to overreact so ridiculously to a comment like the one I made.

Pointless argument

BTW in the world cup this summer, I said I could easily see the US advancing out of their group....guess that means I thought all of their group stage games would be easy also? Never seen anyone take such a ridiculous side on a statement about " I can easily see team x winning y amount of games" as that person saying all of their games would be easy.

:L You said easily. It won't be easy. Get over it already.

FFS, it was just a simple statement and you go all bat shit crazy over it. You really can't handle opposing views can you?

Sorry, you are right. It will be super easy to get to 7-4. Will that shut you up?

I know a few people who just cannot admit when they are wrong about something. They twist the facts to somehow make themselves right in some way, even when an absolute contradiction to what they're saying is given.

All you can do is shake your head and smile.

Was there a game last night? It's sad to think that one of the NFC South teams will make the playoffs & probably force out a 10 win team.

Yeah because it's absolutely impossible for the saints to still win 10 games right? Gotta love nfc west fans. They bitch about the south having a division winner that win 9 or 10 games but never had. Since 2004 the nfc west has had 4 division winners who won less than 10 games while the nfc south has only had a division winner win less than 10 games once since the division was ever created. This is the south 13th year in the nfl and in the first 12 years, the division winner won 11 or more games in 10 of their first 12 years. I think they're allowed a down year.

I'm not even sure why you're complaining. After Seattle & sf win this week the saints are just a game behind both of those teams and they play san fran next Sunday so if the saints win next week they'll be tied with one of the teams who I assume you think they would be stealing a spot from? If romo doesn't play this week (even if he does) dallas with that schedule can easily finish the year with 6 or 7 losses. I don't see them stealing a spot from anyone. At the end of the year there will be a lot of teams with 9 or 10 wins and the saints should be win one of them. The only teams that I see as a lock for 11 plus wins in the nfc right now is green bay.

Funny thing is unless the cardinals win this week, the saints would be at most 2 games back of any nfc team at the halfway mark

I thought it was clear that I am talking about this season. Don't get your panties in a bunch. Just be glad that the Saints play in a terrible division & can pad their wins. How many wins does NO have on the road against non divisional opponents? It's not inconceivable that a terrible team in a terrible division gets to 10 wins. The issue I have is that there likely will be better teams with 10 wins that miss out.

Funny thing is unless the cardinals win this week, the saints would be at most 2 games back of any nfc team at the halfway mark

The Saints have second worst strength of victory in the NFC

What do you think this means?

I'm done with that topic. It's the typical Seahawks fans looking for a fight. No surprise there. People read too much into every word of a comment. It's no difference than someone saying when the schedule comes out that they think theie team can easily make the playoffs with that schedule. I don't look it as that person saying all of their games will be easy....I look at it as the person saying they see a lot of winnable games on their team schedule and if they play the way you expect them to then they should make the playoffs. No difference here. If the saints play how they have the last 3 games (especially the offense), I fully expect them to win all 3 home games. Do I expect them to win every one of those games to be blowouts? No I do not. I'll be shocked if more than one of those games is decided by 2 tds or more
