Saw a commercial for it last night. It's set during the American revolution. Looks badass. I can't wait.

yeah it looks pretty sweet, i've really enjoyed all the AC games...got Revelations in the PS3 right now, got it for xmas, played it a ton, then kinda faded, havent played it in probably 4 months, need to get finished with it

I havent played Revelations yet, but I finished the first 3. Is there anything special in Revelations (outside of storyline) that sets it apart from Brotherhood?

Will AC IV be modern day?

Yeah. Rev basically ties most of the overarching story together from the past games and sets up 3. I suppose you could just read the game's wiki online to get the details, but its a solid game. Worth picking up cheap. It's shorter than the other games too so you could knock it out pretty quick before starting 3.

Oh, I will play it. Brotherhood ended on a pretty awesome cliff hanger. I gotta see the continuation of that story line.

I just have to finish fallout3 first (I picked it up again after about a years absence).

I suspect you'll be totally lost if you don't play the other ones. The story gets sort of complex. Play the other ones. They're all great games. I'm sure you can get some bundle deals. Don't know about the 360, but I'm positive I saw PS3 advertising a bundle of previous games with AC3.

Picked it up today. It's gorgeous. I'm 2 hours in so not much going on. It starts off sort of slow. Also, I'm not sure if I like the combat system. Maybe it gets better as the game goes on but it seems a bit more clunky than past games

Last year, I bought Revelations as it came out and a month later I was seeing it new for $29.99 at Best Buy. I'm not making the same mistake and wasting $30 bucks this year, I can wait a month.

Just got to Seq 4. Nice little twist early in the game but somewhat predictable. I'm loving the gorgeous landscape but shit if it doesn't take awhile to travel. I must be overlooking the fast travel option

No spoilers but how far in? I'm taking my time. I just got to sequence 6. Apparently the first 5 sequences have been one long ass tutorial. Also, Naval battles are awesome
