Didn't even know that game was being played this weekend until somebody on the radio pointed it out. Both teams are struggling at 4-4. That game was so huge in the 80's, 90's, and much of the 00's. But with that historic rivalry going down this weekend, and on a weekend with the shittiest lineup of games in a long time, this game is still under the radar. A damn shame if you ask me.

Yeah I think I’m more optimistic as a Cane’s fan than a Nole’s fan. I think the writing was on the wall the very first game Taggert took the field. FSU was a hot mess then and literally no signs of improvement since. Diaz has shown some promise, not much but has more upside.

Heck naw, that's reserved for good teams from the best conference that are respected and loved worldwide.

Agree though, this was once must see TV but now....both are disgraceful. Miami has never been sh*t without cheating under Howard S, Johnson and Jones but FSU was legit under Bowden and Jimbo for awhile.

FSU had a 4th Quarter lead in every loss but the Clemson one. We're running hurryup offenses late in the game, which gives the ball back to the other team sooner. And 5 personal fouls in the 4th quarter vs UVa. Deserved to lose that one. Things are definitely improved since last season.

Just talked to my brother (FSU grad) about that tonight! He's all geeked up for it of course. I've been to three of them over the years (all with my brother). I saw Miami beat FSU in the old Orange Bowl Stadium in 1990, FSU beat Miami @ Doak in 1999 and Miami beat FSU in the Jan. 2004 Orange Bowl Classic @ Pro Player Stadium (or whatever it was called then)!

And to think about it, the Seminoles have a Heisman winner, an undefeated season, and a national championship team within the last few years. To slide so far down, so quickly. And to consider when this new ACC was formed, many thought Miami would be in conference championship game a lot. Can’t remember, have they ever made it?
