It just became Doug Martin, CJ1K and Bowe for Trent Richardson, Bush and Bess. I'm not too upset because Bowe is my WR2 and I'd feel confident going in with either TY Hilton or Golden Tate as my WR2.

Honesly I don't like this trade. I think Martin has a better year than TRich and CJ/Bush will probably be a push in PPR as CJ will dominate in yardage and TD's while Bush beats the shit out of CJ in receptions. So I would not make that trade. You however have them ranked different so you should go off of your rankings and if it makes sense, do the deal. As far as Bowe/Bess...........that pretty much speaks for itself.

Oh I know, the WR part of it is very lopsided. As I said, the entire part of that is moot to me because I have both Golden Tate and TY Hilton, whom I think will be more than adequate WR2 candidates this season. It's strictly to upgrade my RB situation, which isn't that bad to be honest, but in PPR it could be better.

I guess the one thing to consider is that if TB's line is still not fully healthy, DMart won't have as many yards as last year but may have more receptions, which would be just fine.

I actually think richardson is the best RB in this deal... But i mostly agree that the RBs in this deal is a wash... Its a trade i would not make, only because you are losing trade value in this deal... I understand that you want bush, and if the urge for bush(inuendo intended) is overwhelming then make the deal... But that would be the only reason to make this deal... it may hurt you later on since again, you are losing trade value in this deal...

I'm trying not to focus on the overall trade value and look at it as a more strategic upgrade to my RB core. The only way I see this blowing up in my face is if Bush and/or TRich get hurt, which is always a possibility. Then I'd be up shits creek. Like I said earlier, I ended up not pulling the trigger, but I just hope I don't regret it when Bush finishes the year with 100+ catches.

I do have to say, after watching the Titans in some preseason tilts, their offensive line is looking really strong and CJ is running like a beast again. I don't have any hope of him becoming CJ2K again, but if he is even CJ1.4K, I am in great shape. Also, I just noticed DMart's non-division matchups. While he has rough matchups with Seattle and San Fran, he has some nice matchups against some underwhelming defenses in the AFC East, and they round it out with Detroit and Philly, 2 very manageable defenses to go up against. I think I'm gonna hold off on dealing him.

Can't wait to revisit this thread in like week 8.

Stand pat. Season hasn't even started yet. I like Martin better than Trent Richardson and Bowe is hands down a better option than Bess.

So is Bush > CJ2K? and enough to give Bowe away for practically nothing?

Ten team, standard, espn league. (I had to autodraft)

My team is
QB - P. Manning
RB - Foster, Ridley, Lacy, Bernard, Ballard, Bell, and Bryce Brown
WR - Wayne, Bowe, Jennings, Mike Williams, Broyles
TE - Vernon Davis
Steelers/Josh Brown

I was offered CJ Spiller and Cam Newton for Arian Foster and Vick Ballard.
Thoughts on the trade proposal?

but no way ever do i take Bess for Bowe....

if you want reggie and I don't blame ya if you do find another way...do not grab Bess at Bowe's expense...

I'm pretty sure you won't regret it then. I think people are a little to "catch-happy" with Bush in Detroit. Like you said, Sox... can't wait to revisit this thread in two months.

Hells no to the trade, you do not need a QB, so it is basically ballard and foster for spiller... i do like foster this season, but what does this trade do for you?? you are already strong at running back, but week at WR... why make a trade that does not affect anything??

I agree that he does not need Newton and that he does need a WR, but he doesn't need Ballard either.

Personally, I would rather have Spiller than Foster this year, but even if you thought them to be a wash, Cam is a much more valuable asset than Ballard is. If you were trying to upgrade at WR, Cam would allow you to do that where Ballard probably would not.

This trade is a huge win from a value standpoint, but it should not be the last deal you make because you do not need both those QBs.
