Injury bug has gotten me. V. Davis; Matthews; and now AJ Green. Which 2 of these 3 would you start?

PPR league.

1) Sproles vs NYG
2) Ridley @ Buffalo
3) Sanu vs Carolina

My gut is telling me roll with Sproles and Sanu. Picked up Ridley because he has gotten 20+ touches in 3/4 games, and he killed it last week. Don't love the matchup @ Bills though. Love Sproles, but for some odd reason Chip is starting to go away from him. I guess 8yds/carry is no good? And Sproles has only gotten 2 passes in the last 2 games combined (odd). Sanu is going to be the guy this week with Green out, but does that mean he will be blanketed?

What to do?

Not Ridley. Feels weird for me to say this and have it not be biased. The Bills defense is nasty good. 0 rush TD allowed so far this year... (damn, did I just jinx them?)

The Bills run D has been pretty freaking good so regardless or Sanu being blanketed I'd start Sanu over Ridley without a doubt. Don't forget Sanu had a big game when AJ left in the Falcon's game. As for Sproles, I see this game as being a shootout (duh) and he should be heavily involved in the passing game. I say you have it right.

Maybe, but it'll be Vereen that gets it..................I hope.

Ok, this is what's killing me. I think at this point Sanu is a given (especially in ppr). So it is between Ridley and Sproles.

I am still tending to agree with the others that Sproles is the better play. but 25 touches vs 7 touches is hard to ignore - regardless of match ups.

How is Ridley guaranteed 25 touches? I'm not saying Ridley is the wrong play, and with the Eagles O line woes, maybe Sproles will continue to nose dive, but don't base your choice on expecting 25 Ridley touches.

You guys make good points and 99.9% of the time I agree with the touches and will go with the guy that gets the most but in this case I like Sproles in a shoot out over the guy that will probably get 15 to 20 touches against team that gives up the 4th least points to FF RB's and is ranked #2 against the run in the NFL. I'd say if any NE RB has any success it would be Vereen.

In this game, he may not. But:

Week 2 - 25 touches
Week 3 - 20 touches
Week 4 - 5 touches
Week 5 - 27 touches

Looks to me like they are trying to get him the ball over 20 times/game.

Think I'm gonna stick with Sanu and Sproles.
