Used to be my daily driver for years. Ran a Holley on it for a long time. Got tired of constantly replacing the fucking jets and constant adjustments. Ran the edelborck on it for about the last 5 to 6 years. Driving it periodically. Keeping it around to tinker with and when I needed a truck. Its only in the last few months that it has all gone to shit.@Peter Gozintite
Did this truck ever run right???
And if it did, what was the last thing you did before it fucked up??
I did have a small fuel leak, at the fuel filter, which caught fire for about 15 seconds. Nothing really damaged, couple of wires that I heat shrinked some fresh insulation on.@Peter Gozintite

It hasn't run for years. I use it mostly to beat off in.
I am about to never speak to you again
Fuck you and you stupid list@Peter Gozintite
That looks and sounds like you just turned the ignition off.
Electrical.
No sputtering.
No chug chug chug.
No surging.
No gas smell.
Spark/air/fuel/timing.
It's getting air/fuel.
Could be vacuum, at some point something is changing when it gets warm to the distributor/vacuum advance maybe.
Or, electrical.
Oh
and Dude.
It might be all that dirt under the hood.

I will kiss you on the mouth if this works. You filthy creole catfish faced fucker!I know what it is. It's has nothing to do with vacuum or carb !

That modulator is bad. Those old Fords had these go bad often.
It's that square looking thing made of aluminum. It has gel packing in the back that goes bad and malfunctions.
Change it and your problem is solved.
The part you have pictured, is not same as the part in your link. I found the ignition module on the other fender well. That part pictured says short circuit protection@Peter Gozintite I know what it is. It's has nothing to do with vacuum or carb !
