If you like 3 straight 7/8 win seasons followed by a 10/11 win season and then do it all over again while absolutely nothing changes I recommend Iowa . Plus side is we tailgate well, people are nice , stadium is awesome . Downside is you have to wave at kids with cancer

Texas - You'll regret this choice.
Florida - Biggest red necks in the SEC and that's very difficult to do.
Georgia - Not bad but they will absolutely break your heart and bitch constantly about it.
Georgia Tech - Abort
Louisville - It may take a decade for their football to come back.
Syracuse - Can't really hate on these guys and love the mascot.
Penn State - Just no.
NC State - Would love to see NC State win in something but they won't.

I'd go the following:

ACC - Clemson or FSU
SEC - LSU or Auburn
Big 12 - Nobody can win but Oklahoma
Big 10 - Michigan State
PAC - you never go full PAC

• Hey SportsHoopla nation, a fellow SportsHoopla member (me) is asking for help in finding a permanent college football team to root for. As some of you have seen, I have switched from team to team quite a bit. I'm an active duty service member, so where I call home is where I will retire, once I hang up the uniform. Teams like Tennessee, ECU, and others will not due. Any suggestions or recommendations as for what team I can root for, I'm ready to pick a team, so I can really enjoy what makes college football special. I really don't want to jump on any band wagons ether, but I don't want a crap hole team (that the AD and powers that be don't give 2 $h1ts about. What say you SportsHoopla nation?

Granted, Oregon seems to wear whatever-the-fuck colors they want anymore, but they will always be green and yellow in my eyes.
