The game should be a BLOWOUT. But, the Nebraska coaches will let the players think it is like playing an FCS team so that is the performance we will see.

We should win by 28-31

Something of a 48-17 or 21

Either way I'm worried about the defense getting ready
Offense won't get tested defense should go to town on Purdue

Yeah, Purdue is bad.

Which makes Notre Dame bad, which makes Mich St and Ariz St bad, which makes Wisconsin bad, which makes Ohio St not as good as people think which makes Northwestern bad. :D

I don't see a "sure" loss the remainder of Nebraska's regular season.

The defense has to grow up and get better as the season goes along, right?
Taylor Martinez is going to come back playing like a Heisman candidate, right?

That's all it will take to win the B-one-G.

I like how I went from the one predict the Nebraska record, I had them at 7-5, until we actually saw B1G teams play other B1G teams and we all realize how awful the Legends truly is. Nebraska could be the best looking swine in the hog lot that is the Legends.

I will disagree on a for sure loss. Nebraska travels to Ann Arbor, for sure loss. Nebraska cannot handle marquee road games under Pelini. I still say Michigan in a blowout. Something drastically bad will have to happen to Michigan for me to change my mind, and that I do not want to happen.

I thought Nebraska would beat Northwestern on August 1. Now, I am not as confident, but since it is in Lincoln, I still think Nebraska can win. Michigan State got scary with the way they manhandled Iowa. Even though on August 1, I had Iowa at 2-10. But that game is in Lincoln. The way Penn State's defense looked against the Indiana offense shows that the loss of Hodge, the other LB, and that D lineman, is costing them. Throw in the 18 year old QB that can make bad decisions, and that game has turned into hope for me.

Basically, Nebraska got better because the Legends and Penn State suck and Nebraska's Defensive suckage does not look as bad as their suckage. That truly says a lot about the suckage in the Legends and at Penn State.

Purdue has ZERO rushing TDs by a running back.

One of their more explosive players(not saying much) is suspended.

alrighty, who served the koo-laid?
-------
For better of worse, every team we've played so far has taken a page out of the Wyoming offensive playbook and tried to copy it. After the next two games (which hopefully we win), unless the defense honestly matures, we could have our hands full the rest of the season. While I like the explosiveness of the offense, they are seldom on the field to give the defense time to make adjustments and rest.

The only Purdue related thread on Husker SportsHoopla.

Are the fans apathetic? I hope the team isn't. The coaches need to keep the players heads out of the clouds after these last two wins.

I've pretty much come to the conclusion that Bo gives opponents the run. It makes sense given Nebraska's rushing defensive rankings since 2010.

Illinois was a strong passing team, but ran the ball 48 times for 4.1 ypc.
An OC is going to take what you give them and it also makes sense in the "Bend but don't break" philosopy that Bo carries.

I've never heard a respected D coordinator not say "you stop the run first", so I don't understand Bo's thought process. When you play "Bend but don't break" against a decent team, they make you break time and time again. Thus a blowout.

Good offensive philosophy has always been "Establish the run" as well.

Does Bo ride a horse backwards?

It'll be interesting to see if Purdue uses the blueprint of success against Bo's defense and racks up the rushing yards.
