Nebraska plays TCU today on FSN at 1pm

TCU went on the road and knocked off Texas Tech the other night............Doc said aside from Vanderbilt this will be the toughest team we've played this year by far.

Should have our hands full.

Yea I saw that too........I'm actually surprised at how much credit people outside of Nebraska are giving us this year. Many sites have us projected to win 7 or 8 conference games..........if we do that, we have a shot at making the tourney.

If we win 6 conference games we will be in the NIT at least.

I don't know much about TCU..........but for Nebraska, we want to get the big guy Almeida the ball as much as we can when he's in. Actually we are the 4th tallest team in the country this year so we have several big guys who we want with the ball. Brian Jorge Diaz is another one of those guys.........Ubel also.

Lance Jeter is the general out there for us........he should have the ball in his hands at all times (when we're dribbling) unless someone else is shooting. He is one of the best ball handlers in the Big 12.

We have some 3 point shooters out there in Brandon Richardson, Eshaunte Jones, and Drake Beranek. Those are the main guys we want to see catching the ball on the perimeter.

Our team plays excellent defense, so I expect to see TCU score under 60 points in this game. That's about all I guess.

Almeida is a pretty big dude. Funny how we go from the shortest team in the country 2 years ago to the 4th biggest. Do you guys think this is Doc's best team since he's been here?

It's definitely the most potential he's had since he's been here.........this team is so young, we have almost everyone back next year.

Diaz looks like he has bulked up quite a bit since last year

Diaz added 30 lbs in the offseason.........which is huge for him.

you sure can see a big difference when almeida is in.. (No pun intended) I wonder how much he will really contribute when league play starts considering his inexperience.

Yea Almeida is a difference maker for sure..........right now his playing time is limited due to the fact that he has to carry all that weight and he gets tired pretty fast. He's already lost 30 lbs and Doc wants him to shed 30 more. Hopefully he can shove some of those bigger guys around in conference play.

Nebraska wins 70-56.......shot very well. 10 three-pointers......McCray was 4 for 4 from beyond the arc which was a pleasant surprise. Jeter was stellar as usual.

Despite the 12-0 run Nebraska gave up to start the 2nd half to let TCU take the lead, this is the best I've seen Nebraska play this season by far.
