A lot of tickets available everywhere

Auburn, Stanford, Florida, Nebraska, Texas, Michigan, Georgia, Missouri, and many more....

The number of games with available tickets is almost double the ones that are sold out.

HEck there are still tickets unsold for tonight's big kickoff of USCe vs Texas A&M game.

That is just the nature of every game being on TV now.

Even diehard college stadiums cannot provide an in game experience over HDTV.

..........

Attendance gets a little better once the summertime ends and cold weather gets everyone more into a football frame of mind.

... We will sell out every single game with ease.

Slow news day.

Last I checked there are maybe 50 tix left for the FAU game.

91k+ after the expansion is gonna change the ebb and flow of timing for ticket purchases in the foreseeable future.

The main thing is that our home schedule is just so mind numbingly mundane.

All of Auburn's season ticket packages are sold out and have been for a while I think some of the non-conference games have a few individuals left but not much.

Isn't Arkansas a conference game. There is still about 2000 unsold.

but, that is not bashing Auburn.

A zillion week one games are less than sold out.

It doesn't mean the game or product is any less popular.

People just use other things besides the stadium experience to enjoy games.

Texas is not immune. There is about 2000 or so left for the North Texas opener.

Oregon, Oklahoma, Michigan State, USC, and the list goes on...

College Football is stronger and more popular than it has ever been.

But, the experience adapts. The stadium experience is no longer the only option to get your fix.

Oklahoma has sold out every home game since Bob Stoops got here. This year will be no different and Im doing my part with season tickets again.

It's a combination of factors:

Yes poor performance is one, but even during the Rich Rod years Michigan sold out, so that can't be it alone.

Poor schedules, outside of the novelty of bringing back Appalachian St. :-)L), what excitement is there with this game?

The increased coverage, capabilities of the home theater. Why deal with the crowds and lines when you can enjoy the game from the comfort of your home? And during the commercials see what else is going on in CFB, and before and after the game.

Ticket prices, Dave Brandon has been an idiot in this regard, especially with student tickets. With the above point, why would you pay ever increasing prices?

Seems like this thread has showed up a couple times now. Can we just wait until Nebraska actually loses the sellout streak before jumping to this?

And I guarantee that Michigan's streak of 100,000+ crowds will remain intact.

Just went to the Auburn ticket office and the only available tickets are way in the corner of the upper deck section 113 which I believe is part of the seating typically given to the visiting school. So my guess is there are some individual tickets that have been returned by Arkansas but all the Auburn tickets have been sold and suspect those returns will be also.
