problem is we'll still have kelly calling the plays ... which he has proven he cannot do. i find it hard to believe ANY talented team will prosper under this lousy coach.

Wow, they did called a cutback run. Rutgers is totally outmanned and have to over commit and finally they cutback with the running back. The pass defense has given a ten yard cushion all day. How they are not up by 3 tds is mystifying.

Their kicker can drive it home into the wind from 47 yards out and Brindza comes up short from 31 yards out.

that would be nice but i find it hard to believe anyone in the nfl could see anything in kelly as a coach.

Better luck next season. This game was hard to watch at times. There is no doubt in my mind Notre Dame had a huge edge in talent. The game should have never been close. Good game for Zach Martin and Folston played well too. I honestly want to be behind Kelly but he coached like he had the flu. I have the flu myself so I'm trying real hard to give him a mulligan on this one.

Ok guys I was at the game and damn we played like poop. This should been an blow out. We out gained them by 300 yards and we won the clock by 17 min. The weakness was special teams and not scoring in the red zone.

Sidenote: If I was ND I would never play on the field again until they fix it. It was one of the worst fields I ever saw. Players on the side lines were complaining how bad the field was. It was like a ice skating rink. The field was falling apart. Great day for a game 48-50 degrees in NY at this time of the year.

Overall thank god we won this game. Oh yeah Rees stinks. Thank god we don't have to see him play again.

Notre Dame couldn't seem to score Touchdowns when they got in the redzone.
