He's a damn sight better than ok.

His career record is 124-115 with a 4.23 ERA. He is essentially a .500 pitcher giving up 4 runs a game. If that is better than ok, then I'm not sure who you think is average.

Welcome to our hell.

That's game. McDermott will not miss these 2.

If he didn't get the crap calls he wouldn't average 15 ppg. He is severely unathletic.

His record as a Red is significantly better. He's good for 200+ innings practically every year. He never misses a start.

He is a good option as a #4 or #5 guy. He is not good enough to be a #3 pitcher.

He is 91-82 with a 4.09 ERA as a Red.he has 9 more wins than losses as a Red. Exactly same as his career numbers. His ERA is slightly better.

Flagerant 1 is a HUGE break for Cincy. 2 FT's and the ball.

That's pitching in GABP. Subtract about .5 from the ERA. He also pitched for some pretty bad teams a few years back. Besides, on this staff he is the #4.

He is the #3. Bailey is the #4.

Tubbs has no argument because he doesn't know what the league average ERA is or was. I do. Here's a clue, Tubbs.....you're wrong.

Arroyo is a beast.

What wasn't a break was Thomas bricking the FTs....

I blame coaches for lack of FT shooting. If I'm a coach, for every FT you miss at the next practice you stay after and shoot 100. There is no reason that EVERYONE shouldn't shoot at least 80%. Coaches don't coach it anymore and that is on them.

In my mind Bailey could end up the 2 before the year is over

Nah. Dusty isn't going to make any changes. Going into the playoffs Cueto will be the 1, Latos the 2, Arroyo the 3.
