Korey Foreman about to get paid.

#1 recruit for 2021. I'm sure he's already been contacted by top boosters from programs across the country offering him sponsorship.

247 should just start having the bids on there and run it just like eBay.

That makes too much sense. They are going to allow boosters to pay tens of thousands of dollars to buy up every player’s they can. Oregon is about to sign the top 30 recruits every year because no one will be able to compete with that Nike money.
If by equalizing how much pay a student athlete can get while in college allows the student to truly pick where they want to go and not base it off who will give me the most cash in college. So now, I can only make 2k a month or whatever cap it is. When I graduate if I am as good as everyone says I am, I will make a mega contract and that chump change I made in college is irrelevant.

Except they won’t do that. They are going to allow Uncle Phil to pay each player $150k a year to play at Oregon because the NCAA is going to make it the Wild West and the gap between the rich schools and everyone else is going to become massive. Competitiveness in college football is going to be dead.

Can't see how the NCAA survives or stays relevant much longer. They are understaffed and hardly capable of handing the day-to-day. Now they're going to define rules and specifics for 3 divisions to apply to all college athletics then govern them? How?

He’s gonna be my first celebrity spokesman for my neighborhood lemonade stand I’m opening next year. I’ll start him out at $100,000.

Signed, Alabama booster

Except people will cry about how can you limit what people make, that’s unamerican. In no line of work do you say how much is too much to pay someone.

Interesting point, I wonder how this impacts recruiting. I think the basketball recruits might get larger paydays.

High school players had better start signing with agents. No way they can play football, study and still have time to hustle contracts.

Fuck it. Skip school and just make it the minor leagues.

And here’s the thing, they will have to make it an annual payment because if it’s just the first year, player hops into the transfer portal talking about how the coach said a mean thing to him once and should get immediate eligibility and the bidding process starts up again.
