I’d rather endure an 0-12 season than have no season at all, and where I’m from the pronunciation is more like Jarger. Jimmy Carter is from South Georgia, they can’t pronounce r sounds, where we in north GA add extra r’s
I’m not so sure about that. You should ask Husky fans about an 0-12 season.

I've never been through a winless season, but I have been through some bad seasons. I still watch every UGA game during bad seasons, but I will flip channels from time to time, so I end up watching more football.

O-fer seasons suck! I went through the 1994 0-10-1 Iowa State season in 1994. I saw Iowa State lose to Northern Iowa (FCS), Western Michigan (MAC), Rice (SWC) and Kansas, Mizzou and Nebraska from the Big 8 in Ames + @ Iowa from the B1G! lol. Nobody should ever have to sit through an 0-fer season. That is just mean!

So, some schools are talking within it's own conference about doing home and home series to fill in any other school that can't play because of state restrictions.

0 get 52 longest losing streak in Virginia High School history. Sad part in the ten years before that we had 4 future NFLers and a QB that broke most of Staubach's records at Navy.

I think the most interesting dynamic here is that it all depends on each state, region, administration for when and if football can happen at that particular school - and then - you add in conferences and the NCAA. In Michigan, Lansing might be perfectly fine, but Ann Arbor might not; our county has more than twice the cases. Or what if everyone's Gov in the B10 says CFB is good to go in one way or another, but Mich's Gov says it's a no-go? You could have cases nationally where certain schools are banned at the state level from participating. It could get super interesting, I'm not sure how the season happens unless there's a treatment or major drop in cases; or just the acceptance that some schools are out from the get go.

I think what's really interesting is the stance the NCAA has taken. They are not going to interfere with what each
state does/demands.

This is going to develop in civil war not only between different regions of the country but inside leagues themselves.

The Red States, as of this moment, are planning on playing. Most of the Blue States are either not
going to play, at the moment, or are in limbo, making a political lean away from playing. They won't even
let their citizens work let alone play a game. Most of the Purple folks will play.

If they play there will be no spring football season in the Pac12. The Big10 is going to be the
real big deciding factor. They are pretty equally divided. The SEC is all Red. The ACC is
majority Red (State Legislatures). They'll all play. That's 28 schools. BC and Syracuse might'opt out,
but no one would notice. Even with 26 schools, they only need the Big12 to join with them and
more than half of the Power 5 schools ould be playing. The NCAA is not going to interfere
thus West Coast football would be dead.

In reality the Big12 could really make a killing on all of this. They could add Ariz, Ariz St,
Colo and Utah, if they desired.

It's all political in California and Oregon right now. How you can make a decision not to play,
at this point and time is beyond me. You make plans to play and if nothing changes by
August, you can then decide to cancel. But you give it 3 extra months.

Yeah but we see how many of the schools live paycheck to paycheck with sports. Sure tosu would be fine..as TX but other schools? baylor would be hurting bad, as would the AZ schools...Wasn't Co and Mizzu already tinkering in the red? One season could break them

ouch it seems Jawja is out.. Thoughts and Prayers @Chewbaccer

To be fair, if they were to cancel the season. This would be the first time in 40 years their annual pre-season national championships sticks. Can't be taken away if you don't play.

Better not. We're gonna fucking kill Ohio State this year!

Why is this post getting so many funny ratings. I don't get it.

Yep your right, just like we killed them the past couple of years, right?

We don’t have a chance with Jimmy at the helm, he has always been a choke artist in the big games at every stop of his coaching career, what on earth makes you think he is going to miraculously flip the scrip this time?
