Jazz star Donovan Mitchell has tested positive for the coronavirus, league sources tell ESPN. Jazz players privately say that Rudy Gobert had been careless in the locker room touching other players and their belongings. Now a Jazz teammate has tested positive.

Once an NBA player tested positive, Silver had to be proactive....did he go too far? We don't know yet...of the Jazz players, another one has it as well. At the very least, he should've gotten all the teams that have played the Jazz recently quarantined and tested... that would've taken as many as 6 teams out of the mix until all have been tested and gotten the results back...that would've taken 3 or 4 days probably. Then based on the results, you decide from there.

We knew nothing of what this thing does. Now With Gobert, Mitchel, Tom Hanks having it, high profile people that we know have it, we, as the public, can actually see what this thing is. If they are fine within 2-3 days (which is my guess) We probably move on from this mass hysteria and fear rather quickly.

Of course right now it sounds like Mitchell isn't showing any signs or symptoms, but that could change and he starts feeling under the weather in a day or two, but basically, now we can put a name and a person to someone who has it, we can see what it does.
