NBA salary cap

NBA analysts are talking bout the salary cap going up to $89mil in 216-17 and $108mil in 2017-18. BTW, this years cap was $63.1mil. This is a crazy increase. Contracts are going to skyrocket. Now we know why 'Bron only took a short contract. He gonna cash out if that cap basically doubles in 3 years

Are out really just now figuring this out? It's been in the discussions on this board for a long time.

Those aren't quite exact yet either but most knew the 2016 cap would be in the 90 mil range. Basically in 2016, all but a handful of teams are gonna have cap space, the majority will likely have enough space to afford at least one max player (not just poor teams either, good teams might have room for one as well)
